Richard Mille, whose ambassadors include Rafael Nadal and Bubba Watson, is expanding its link to the world of sports with the release of its first women’s sports watch, the RM 07-04 Automatic Sport.

Richard Mille has also invited six renowned female athletes — racing drivers Aurora Straus and Margot Laffite, golfer Nelly Korda, track and field stars Nafi Thiam and Yuliya Levchenko, and snowboarder Ester Ledecká — to express their perspectives on the new clock.

It took three years to build the RM 07-04 Automatic Sport. Instead of adapting its existing movements, the manufacturer created a new skeletonised in-house automatic movement with great shock resistance, the CRMA8 calibre.

The RM 07-04 Automatic Sport is designed for physically demanding conditions and can endure accelerations of up to 5,000G while weighing only 36 grams including the Velcro strap. The iconic function selector complication by Richard Mille protects the winding stem from stress and allows the wearer to move between the neutral, winding, and time-setting modes.
